'Action for Autism' performance at WAF Community Day of Dance

Our 'Action for Autism' group of young people made us so proud yesterday with their two performances at the Wandsworth Arts Fringe Annual Community Day of Dance, held at the Royal Academy of Dance.
This is the third year running that young people from our project have been involved in this event thanks to various funding from Wandsworth Council and the Arts Council England. The current project is being funded by Wandsworth Council Arts and Culture / Arts for Health and Wellbeing is running to December 2025.
The group performed their new creative dance piece 'Solstice: a movement meditation'
Light is brightest in the dark, flowers emerge out of winter. We use this as a metaphor to remind ourselves of our own inner light and the opportunity to let it shine out to others. It also helps to remember this when we find ourselves in difficult or challenging situations.
Please see, below, some images from the day.

If you would like to find out more about this funded project that we have been running for over five years and/or know of a young neurodivergent young person who would benefit from the weekly Autism Movement Therapy® sessions, please visit our Project page or contact us.
