Happy Streets Festival: MovementWorks Interactive Family Disco

We will be providing our renowned Interactive Family Disco that has become a firm favourite at the Welcome to Wandsworth Happy Streets Festival over the past few years.

Ali will be taking to the stage to provide the tunes, so all you have to do is put on your dancing shoes and join in! Members of our Team will be in the audience to help get the moves started!

ABOUT THE EVENT
Each year, hundreds of Battersea residents flock to Thessaly Road to join the fun at Happy Streets, a free family arts festival featuring live performances, face paining, food and more!
From a solar powered stage packed with performances, to dance workshops and free pizza-making, Happy Streets has dozens of free activities for all ages. Get messy with local artists in arts and crafts workshops or make your own smoothie using pedal-power! Expect a weekend of colourful street parties, walkabout acts, and some incredible live music from local performers. 2025 will see Happy Streets take place across two days for the first time. Join us on Saturday 5th July 12pm-6pm at St George's School, Thessaly Road, Mansion Square and the ROSE Community Clubroom. Come back the next day on Sunday 6th July 12pm - 5pm for more fun at Yvonne Carr Centre and the Oasis Gardens. The full programme will be announced soon! Happy Streets took place for the first time in July 2019, inspired by London artist Yinka Ilori’s colourful redesign of a railway underpass on Thessaly Road in Nine Elms that links the Savona, Patmore and Carey Gardens estates.

The event is free to attend - tickets are not required.
