DEVELOPMENTAL DANCE MOVEMENT® SESSIONS
A COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PROJECT SUPPORTED BY THE CITY BRIDGE TRUST
We launched our Developmental Dance Movement® for Child Development 'Build A Bridge' in 2023 and provide weekly dance movement sessions (term-time only) to support the development of children, ages 2-7 years, of all abilities, although we are actively seeking to welcome children with additional, social and communication needs.

making the sessions free of charge to children/families*
MovementWorks® is the originator and global lead of the Developmental Dance Movement® Method, Programme and Training. Developmental Dance Movement® (DDM) is an evidence-based early years programme conceived to enhance global development (cognitive, physical, social, emotional)
Activities are simple, fun and interactive, designed to be enjoyed as a group
and supported by Makaton signing.

Developmental Dance Movement
Weekly sessions for 2 cohorts on a Friday morning
First session starting at 11.00 a.m. / Duration of each session: 45 mins
(Term time only)
Venue: Babyzone Croydon

We accept applications all year round.
Important Notes:
- All sessions are FREE to attend. You will be required to complete a short, formal registration/application form before your child's place is confirmed. Please note: These are not drop-in sessions.
- Once enrolled in the programme, we expect children to attend every week to get the most from the programme.
- Sessions are 'closed' and are limited to 10 children per session. In the case of over-subscription, we will operate a waiting list system and if there is more interest than places available we will offer new places at the beginning of each term.
- Places will be allocated on the basis of the above terms.
- All children must be accompanied by an Adult Parent/Carer.
- After participating in the programme, you will be required to complete a short feedback form so we can provide information to our Funders.
- Once enrolled, if you no longer require your child's place on the programme, please let us know via email to info@movementworks.org
