MovementWorks are proud to launch our Developmental Dance Movement® for Child Development
A weekly dance movement session at two venues to support the development of children of all abilities.
This project is supported by a grant from City Bridge Trust
making the sessions free of charge to children/families*
MovementWorks® is the originator and global lead of the Developmental Dance Movement® Method, Programme and Training. Developmental Dance Movement® (DDM) is an evidence-based early years programme conceived to enhance global development (cognitive, physical, social, emotional)
Activities are simple, fun and interactive, designed to be enjoyed as a group
and supported by Makaton signing.
Sessions are for children between the ages of 2 - 7 years
We are actively seeking to welcome children with additional, social communication needs.

All parent/carers are required to register their child/ren and provide short survey feedback forms when requested.
Note: The 'closed' sessions beginning in January 2024 will be limited to 10 children per session and they must be accompanied by an Adult Parent/Carer. In the case of over-subscription, we will operate a waiting list system and if there is more interest than places available we can offer new places each term.
