MW Web - On Demand Library Header New

Following a successful Crowdfunding campaign with Aviva Community Fund, we are developing a superb library of specialist dance and movement classes to help children, young people and adults with and without learning disabilities stay active and healthy both physically and mentally and have opportunities to learn through a movement based approach.

We want to thank all of our supporters for helping us raise a massive £12,633 as part of this campaign which has helped greatly and we have now launched the library with one each of Developmental Dance Movement®, Autism Movement Therapy® and Rhythm and Rhyme sessions which will be followed by more as we progress through the Summer and Autumn.

Why MovementWorks On Demand Library?

As we’re all too well aware the COVID pandemic brought many challenges, which required all of us to be resilient, adaptive and quite frankly, brave. During the lockdowns, we were lucky to win funding from various sources and provide our MovementWorks Online programme, so were able to provide daily online sessions to a growing number of clients,

As we recovered from the Pandemic, there was a growing demand for our services as providing the Online Sessions meant that we had reached out globally instead of being restricted to our normal geographical catchment area. We wanted to respond directly to this need and we also recognise that finances are being affected by the rising costs of living including the energy costs crisis and in the Early Years sector, the funding crisis that has resulted in many provisions closing down. Hence the MovementWorks Online On Demand Library, providing our bespoke sessions in cost-effective platform, accessible to all.

While our initial fundraising covered all of the up front production costs associated with creating the MovementWorks Library, we are still continuing with our fundraising will be used to enhance the project by developing this resource with more sessions and more content - making this a meaningful lasting resource, and with your help, any additional funds will add even more value by helping us to directly support our many remote beneficiaries. If you would like to support this project, please get in touch or you can support us via our fundraising partner, Give As You Live. by either making a direct donation or by signing up to the Give as you Live Online, the free and easy way to raise free funds for us by simply shopping online.
