MW Post FI - SM Small Charity Wk 2024

Tomorrow is the start of the annual 'Awareness' campaign Small Charity Week

As a small charity we are reliant on the funding and support that we receive from donations and grant funding in order to deliver our projects both to communities, schools, early years settings, clubs and groups especially in these days of austerity where many of these organisations and individuals are struggling for cash.

What is Small Charity Week?
Small Charity Week is a campaign to empower the UK’s small charities to have an even greater impact on society, and to address the challenges they face.Throughout the week, they provide training and events for small charities, and create a national conversation about the vital role of small charities in strengthening communities across the UK. Because when small charities are stronger, the communities they support are stronger too.

Throughout this week, we will be celebrating our funded projects such as 'Artistes for Autism' funded by Arts Council England, 'Action for Autism' which is currently funded by Wandsworth Council Grant Fund and 'Build A Bridge' which is funded by the City Bridge Foundation.

We will also celebrate other funders including the Postcode Lottery, BBC CIN, The Mayor of London, Baily Thomas, Ironmongers and so many more... Without their support we would not be able to reach so many children, young people and vulnerable adults.
