‘Build A Bridge’ Croydon

6 November @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm GMT
Free

Join us for our weekly ‘Build A Bridge’ Community Project!
at Babyzone Croydon, Legacy Youth Zone, Croydon CR0 2LG

This project, aimed at children aged between 2 and 7 years to support Child Development,
is fully funded by the City Bridge Trust –
making the sessions FREE to attend!

We have successfully delivered this project for over three years in Tooting and Wandsworth and reached and made a difference to so many children, and we are now bringing this project
to Croydon for 2 sessions on Friday mornings (term time only)

These weekly Developmental Dance Movement® (DDM) sessions, when attended on a regular basis as part of a programme, support the development of children of all abilities. MovementWorks® is the originator and global lead of the DDM method, programme and training; DDM is an evidence-based early years programme conceived to enhance global development (cognitive, physical, social and emotional)

We are actively seeking to welcome children with additional, social and communication needs.

Activities are simple, fun and interactive, designed to be enjoyed as a group
and are supported by Makaton™ signing.

Here are just a couple of comments on the difference that attending the sessions has made to the children as reported by their parent/carers.

“B really benefits from the MovementWorks programme. His listening and participation in group activities has greatly improved. He always looks forward to the group and is often singing the songs or doing the dances at home. I’d say it is a real cornerstone of his development.”

“D loves the MovementWorks workshops. It’s had a massive impact on my daughter’s confidence, she loves joining in with the dancing and singing and is really engaging with the children. We love watching her in the sessions too – we love them!.”

“O loves the sessions with Hilary, she is always keen to join in with the fun, dances and games and especially likes the bells which she has rung several times.
She engages well with the other children in the group and is now better at identifying colours.
“
